By Andres Munoz
Majority of gym members focuses their workout in the abdominals. They are always in search of the most effective abs workouts. In fact, when you start to lose weight the evidence can be instantly seen in the stomach some believe that it is the hardest thing to burn but endocrinologist agree that the visceral fat that is around the stomach is much more easier to burn that the subcutaneous fat that is inside the skin. Whatever their beliefs are, the most effective abs workouts are those that target the muscles around the stomach, and it tones and strengthens the core muscles, the lower and upper muscles.
Here are the top 10 most effective abs workouts that will guarantee a well toned abs.
1. Abs Crunch
Lie flat on the floor with knees bended, feet flat on the floor. Relax take a deep breath and slowly tighten your abs and slowly bend forward. The force should be coming in from your stomach not from the neck. Hold this pose for a few seconds then release, go down slowly.
2. Abs Reverse Crunch
This strengthens the rectus abdominis or the muscle that is responsible for the six pack abs. Lie flat on the floor feet straight, keep your back and buttocks aligned and on the floor. Then slowly raise your legs together 45 degrees, hold this pose for a few seconds and do not lock your knees.
3. Bicycle Crunch abdominal exercise

Cud any1 suggest some very good workouts to get 6 pack abs?
I do karate, and while sparring I got a massive punch to my stomache. That was when I realised I need some hard abs. 10 points for the best 1.
haha, man i do TKD and your smart for wanting to get some strong abs. First of all, eat 6 meals a day.. you want alot of calories.. second, ab muscles recover very fast, so work them out about 4 times a week, work out each part of them each of the 4 days. Do crunches, side crunches, leg lifts, pull ups, and this one is wierd but works, lay on your back keeping your feet flat on the ground and try to move your shoulders down to your hips.. it is important you only work your abs… keep your legs straight and firm at all times.

What Are Some Easy Workouts To Get Me 6 Pack Abs?
I am wanting to get into shape and become more muscular and hopefully get a 6 pack. Im not fat but im not super skinny. I have a bad eating habit so that probably wont help. someone please help me!!
unfortunately there is no easy way. If there was everyone would have a 6pack. the way to get in shape is to eat healthier more balanced foods and get regular intensive exercise (should make you sweat). surprisingly i seem to have gotten my abs through other workouts. Lots of cardio (1hour daily) and a little bit of core workouts (like sit ups) for maybe 20 minutes straight daily. I believe what happened was my cardio ate at my fat and the core workouts are where the definition in my abs improved but you need both to make them show up nicely.
I usually run and do some kind of core strengthening work outs 4-5 days a week.
I have the same issue, on me it means I need to get just a little bit leaner (at 12% body fat i have a 4 pack and you can barely see the lower 2, at 9 or 10% they pop right out)…but my fave lower ab (It really does them all but def the lower too) exercise is hanging leg raises. Pull up dead hang and lift your legs straight out (go for 15 for 3 sets)…when that is no problem try to go to the pike position. Or another alternative is go from a hang to knees to elbows…again try for 3 sets of 15. If pull up hangs are too hard, they are somewhat easier in a chin up hang (i.e. hands facing towards you are the bar).
